We need your help!
How does this affect me? If you live near this 10 acres of land across from Hardee's on Hwy 98 you are going to be impacted. If this rezoning is approved it will bring in more traffic, more children in our already crowded schools, additional and more serious crime, additional burdens on an already overloaded fire district, more foot traffic and noise, lower water pressure, etc. The Impact on the animals and wetlands will be devastating.
What can I do to help? Attend the County Commissioners Meeting and call or write all the Commissioners. If you can't attend the meeting, please sign the petition.

Case No. Z-2020-06 is a request to change the zoning from Medium Density RESIDENTIAL to COMMERCIAL on a 10 acre tract of land on Halcyon Circle and fronting Lillian Highway.
Approval of this request will allow an additional 250 households to be added to our existing schools & traffic load. It will allow for the encroachment of a natural spring which empties directly to Perdido Bay and the loss of significant wildlife habitat.
On August 6, 2020 at 5:45 PM the Escambia Cty Commissioners will vote on the rezoning at 221 Palafox Place (Ernie Lee Magaha Bldg) 1st Floor.
Please attend the meeting to show your opposition.

Each Commissioner will vote on this matter. Please write and/or call each one to let them know how you feel.
Please send them a email or call expressing your concerns about this.
